My client is looking to recruit an exhibition sales manager. The successful applicant will have previous exhibition and sponsorship sales experience and will have a proven record in commercial acheivements within the exhibition sales field.
You will be expected to develop strong client relationships to enhance the standing of the exhibitions in the industry and to ensure the attainment of profitable sales
To develop new sales leads and to build-up a database of possible exhibitors
Assist in the planning and preparation of sales and marketing material including exhibition packs, brochures and other material
In conjunction with the Group Sales manager and other members of the exhibition department, develop profitable new project ideas, plan, present to the Board for approval and help to implement successfully
Monitor competitive exhibitions
Manage, motivate, discipline, develop and train other sales personnel
Sales Skills
Demonstrate the ability to sell including negotiating, handling objections and closing a deal
Conduct regular face to face meetings with clients in accordance with client standards
Develop high quality influencing skills to use both internally and externally, to achieve the desired results
Demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and disputes with clients and arrive at decisions which allow the business to move forward
Identify the clients needs and add value to clients business
A basic salary of 27-30K is being offered with an on target earnings of just under 40K with car and benefits. |
