QA Team Leader - vacancy filled
Crawley, West Sussex �18,000 - �19,000 MH4100 permanent position	My client, a family owned company who are a leading manufacturer of high quality food, are looking for a Quality Assurance Team Leader to lead a team within their modern factory based at their site in Crawley. The right person would ideally have knowledge and experience within the food industry, but must be a strong personality and have a good eye for detail. The hours are on a rotational shift basis 5am � 2pm and 2pm to finish. The person must be flexible to be able to stay on at night if needed. Key responsibilities include:- To complete all QA tests on products and associated manufacturing parameters To achieve action on any out of specification product or manufacturing parameters Ensure monitoring equipment used is calibrated to schedule Complete all related paperwork To maintain & promote good manufacturing practices of hygiene & housekeeping within the factory & for all staff To assist in the training of new members of the QA team Ensure paperwork is audited, discrepancies challenged & remedial action taken Assist in day to day running of QA function Assist in the development of QA practices Become computer literate to assist in QA administrative tasks Complete assigned project work Deputise in QA Supervisor absence
