The Company
My client is an established and well respected media group that deal with industry publications both print and online. They are renowned for being innovative and creative and are passionate about delivering excellence on all levels of the business including their range of exhibitions and conferences.
The Role
My client has a vacancy in their Croydon office for a Business Development Manager. As a BDM you will be required to develop profitable new revenue streams for one of their industry portfolios (including the magazine, website and events) and for the Business exhibition.
Requirements
My client is looking for an experienced sales negotiator with excellent sales presentation skills and the ability to win new business and build on the existing database. You will do this by forming relationships at board level. You will ideally have a proven background in Business Development however my client will consider applications from people who have worked in a lesser role looking to progress.
The Rewards
The role pays £38k basic with a realistic OTE of £50k. The commission structure is uncapped so the more business you win the more you will earn. There is also a company car, laptop, mobile phone, private healthcare and pension available to the successful applicant.
