The Company My client is a trade only distributor of computer peripherals and AV products, selling to the likes of Amazon.co.uk, Dabs.Com and PC World. The product range consists of all digital imaging products such as photographic equipment and AV products like TVs and Home Theatre systems. The company is widely renowned as the number one distributor for Digital Imaging products in the UK and distribute products for many household names such as, Canon, Casio, Fuji, JVC, Kodak, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony to name but a few. The Role This role encompasses a variety of different tasks, and requires a diverse skill set. In short the job covers all after sales activities including those listed and other linked processes. Communication skills both written and oral need to be impeccable as does good organisational skills. Raising Return authorisations for repair or credit Liaising with customer and manufacturer to solve reported problems with products Testing returned products to verify reported faults Raise credits to customers for faulty goods and send replacements Returning faulty product to the manufacturer for repair or credit Chasing the Manufacturer for credits for returns which were returned for credit Liaise with couriers to obtain Proof of Delivery for queried deliveries Process insurance claims on couriers for missing or damaged items Assist Credit control to solve queried invoices Assist warehouse with Data entry on busy days Suitable To A proven track record in customer services is essential. Educated to A level standard minimum, and to include English and Maths at GCSE level grades A or B, and computer studies would be preferable. Familiarity with Photography and AV products would be a bonus, but not essential Package £17-20k basic (to be reviewed after 3 months and then 6 months) + Bonus |
