Our client is one of Europe’s leading commercial property insurance brokers. They offer an innovative range of products with premiums and terms from powerful national and international insurance companies. This company also has the authority to underwrite many policies itself. They are a top professional set-up who are well respected in their industry.
They are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and develop the client base. This is a wonderful opportunity to join the front line team of a major player in the industry.
Based in Bournemouth, your role will be to manage a portfolio of clients and to develop the market using your expertise, local and UK broking knowledge to secure new business and build relationships in your area.
You must have a minimum of 5 years commercial underwriting, sales or broking experience; have a sound knowledge of local and UK broking, insurers and the property market. Be able to demonstrate effective use of sales, territory management and relationship management skills and possess excellent organizational and time management skills together with experience of presenting at senior levels.Formal insurance qualifications at AC11 level is desirable although not essential.
