Our international aerospace client requires an experienced and qualified Sales and Marketing co-ordinator.
The Role: To co-ordinate the marketing and sales support activities as directed by the Sales Manager to aid the revenue growth of the company.
Marketing Main Duties/Responsibilities: • To ensure the corporate identity is maintained, in a proactive way and with particular reference to: - Brochure design co-ordination and re-ordering - Maintain and update company website - Document standards and logos - Business cards - Signage - Presentations • Organise all aspects for advertising within directories, magazines, trade show catalogues and press releases during trade shows. • Production of brochures and product literature as directed. • On release of new product, take responsibility for customer contractual obligations and organise external photography companies to produce product pictures. • Monitor the marketing spend and provide information as and when requested. • In line with corporate guidelines, constructively contribute to the company’s website design and content. • Organise the design and organisation of exhibition stands including: - All logistical aspects of the exhibition - Co-ordination of any appointed contactors - From storage, retrieval and delivery of hardware for display at shows - Co-ordination of booking tickets - Co-ordination of accommodation for employees attending any conference - Co-ordination of the supply of exhibition samples in supporting the company’s distributors and representatives.
Sales Main Duties/Responsibilities: To provide office based support to the sales department. • Liaise with sales staff to ensure that quotations and orders are properly followed up and dealt with to win business for the company and with minimal risk. • The creation of spreadsheets which are updated regularly to help track distributors performance and provide feedback to the relevant sales executive / manager. • Provide an initial point of contact for sales leads received via the web site / internet directories. • To provide up to date trend analysis of the company’s market segments and competitors. • Regularly update and maintain the accuracy of the sales lead register. • Analysis of monthly web site statistics
Formal Qualifications
• Degree level qualification in relevant or associated subject. e.g. marketing or at least part-qualified in a professional marketing qualification e.g. CIM or CAM.
Skills required
• Microsoft Office suite, including excellent proven use of PowerPoint. • Strong proof reading skills • Proven experience of briefing and managing suppliers e.g. printers and photographs including the production of the supplier brief • Fully conversation in technical marketing terminology • Proven ability to write editorial/advertising copy and press releases
Previous experience required
• Experience of working in a similar environment, with a strong focus on marketing. • Proven experience of applying the basic principles of marketing • Should have had previously sole responsibility for organising at least one exhibition from start to finish • Good time management • Good project management skills • Flexible approach to work • Able to work autonomously and within a team • Ability to communicate verbally at all levels, both externally and internally
Other information
• Driving licence. • Able to travel to other company sites and exhibition centres. • Ability to stay away from home as required e.g. to attend exhibition and other trade shows
