Training is an essential part of any organisations strategy that wants to move forward in its market place, and our client takes their responsibility to training and development seriously. This newly created role will be reporting to the Group Training Manager who has been with the company for the past 5 years. in this position the successful candidate will be conducting a training needs analysis to help identify any gaps that exist. This may include gathering all the relevant information, including conducting interviews with Line Managers, so a personable approach, and the ability to adapt your communication style is essential. This company pride themselves on developing their people so you may also wish to investigate purchasing cost efffective training from external sources. you will be required to meet with these providers and gather as much information as necessary to enable you to build a recommended list of relevant external training providers. Able to write and deliver your own training sesions, the content of the training will need to betailored to the organisations needs and in turn creating a good learning environment. As an enthusiast for Learning and Development you would be able to keep the training session going with discussion and activities to ensure interest, involvement and maximum learning and devlopment of your audience. it is essential you have an organised approach to set learning objectives for each training event, delivery of training and the implementation of training in the workplace. A training background in Financial Services would be advantageous, however, this is NOT esssential, and our client would look at an individual with experience of soft skills training outside of this industry. A good understanding of MS products is essential in addition to a formalised training qualification with physical training experience. you will be an excellent communicator, able to deliver training to a variety of target audiences with hands on approach.
