£100,000 - £180,000 MHExec9451 permanent position | My client is a market leading financial, training and events company seeks to hire a dynamic and entrepreneurial Managing Director to be responsible for the continued growth and oversight of the business. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for increasing the profitability and growth of the business and driving the company forward. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the management of the heads of business in all departments including client services, sales, client experience, events and global marketing teams.Reporting to the CEO the successful applicant will have a strong business acumen and good knowledge of the Financial Services and Events Sector. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and have excellent people management and communication skills.The successful candidate must also have previous managing director experience (at least 5-10 years) preferably in the events and seminar industry and experience of an entrepreneurial type role would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience of expanding a business from £20M to £60M and / or taking a company public.Experience managing across various departments including sales, marketing and client services is also required.Other Skills required are:Mature and responsible approach to managementProven ability to drive business forward, increasing profitability and continually pushing for company growth and expansionProven ability to motivate teams to reach and go beyond their targets.Shows drive and initiative to progress and develop the business.Makes sound decisionsStrong organizational skillsNeeds to be robust, flexible, fun and lively |
