Our prestigious Investment client is looking for a Head of Investment Services to join their fast growing International Financial Training and Investment Services company. Reporting to the CEO, As Head of Investment Services, your primary responsibility will be managing a team of traders. You will be also responsible for recruiting and training traders and optimizing the trading results created by the desk in accordance with strategies given, as well as ensuring compliance requirements are met. You will be required to work with senior traders to set up a new fund and champion our clients FSA application with the assistance of their consultants. You will also be responsible for the successful launch of a revolutionary new product not seen in the UK before. Experience and key skills: -Investment Management Certificate qualifiedand CF30 qualified (please provide proof) -a minimum of 7 years experience in financial services with at least 3 years acting in an investment management role at a UK private wealth manager or retail stockbroker; -previously, an FSA approved person carrying out the customer function CF30 with responsibility for investment management; -a minimum of 2 years in an executive/manager role with proven ability to supervise staff providing motivation, training and support; -proven understanding of FX products (including spread bets); -a good understanding of FSA regulatory requirements; -proven ability to undertake and manage projects effectively and to co-ordinate and monitor services delivered by external service providers; and -good communication skills and experience in initiating and maintaining relationships at all This is a huge opportunity for a dynamic, motivated team player who would relish the wide scope that this role offers. |
