My client is in need of a new Telesales Manager to lead, manage and motivate the Telesales team and the sales team leaders in an Insurance / Finance industry company. You should have experience of leading a Telesales sales team as a Telesales Manager, ideally this Telesales manager experience would be in an insurance / Finance based company as you will need considerable understanding of insurance / Finance markets. The Telesales manager will control the Day to day management and motivational leadership of the Telesales team. Key Responsibilities: To lead and manage the Telesales team and Sales Support staff. To draft, obtain approval for and implement a business acquisition strategy to achieve targets. To assess current market/client needs, offer new product ideas and assist in the development of these products To take responsibility for Network business partner relationships and maximize their true business potential To develop the managers within the Telesales team, and Sales Support staff through one to one coaching, call and written work evaluation. To monitor the success of the Telesales strategies and proposals, report progress and results, regularly and accurately to the Sales Director. To provide appropriate support and direction to the Team leaders to ensure that targets are met and/or exceeded. Liaise with Regional Sales Managers regarding the performance of their Telesales and Sales Support team members. Report monthly or as required, to the Sales Director - on progress against plan, in addition, report on competitive market information/situation Competencies/Skills/Experience: An in depth business knowledge of Broker/ Insurer market (Min 5 years) Delivering Results Driving Performance Developing Others Competitive Intelligence Managing Relationships Selling skills including telephone based Negotiation including telephone based Customer Focus Judgement, decision making and problem solving Influencing Strategic leadership Staff Management Full driving licence Educated to degree level/ equivalent |
