This position will encompass working for a worldwide provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products, with a mission to be the preferred customer –driven provider of innovative networking solutions for small businesses and homes. Job Description: The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for achieving 30% incremental growth targets year on year for the defined account across UK, Nordics, BeNeLux, Germany and France Key responsibilities of the role include: •Develop & Implement Sales Strategy to achieve revenue targets; •To recruit & manage a team of 12 experienced European native language Inside Channel Account Managers (ICAM); •Motivate & drive the ICAM team to achieve and exceed activity rate & revenue targets on time & to budget; •Managing existing partners base and grow incremental revenues for the client & developmental Partner Base; •Deliver & Scope tactical channel engagement plans to achieve Sales Strategy; •Report revenue forecasts & closed Sales ; •Report activity and results against programme objectives clearly and on time; •Ensure Consistent Customer experience on all outgoing and incoming calls; •To ensure e-marketing programmes are delivered to Reseller community in conjunction with Channel Marketing Strategy and Campaigns •To develop developmental partner specific e-marketing campaigns to ensure partner community is aware of programme incentives and promotions; •Ensure client branding and customer experience is maximized on every engagement; •Develop ongoing business relationships with the Distributors and Resellers; •Organize & Deliver ongoing programme of client specific Sales Training & Coaching to educate & motivate team to ensure continual skills improvement programme; •Organize & Deliver Networking Industry & Competitive Manufacturer Training, & client specific Technical training in line with Sales Accreditations Standards & product roadmaps. •Manage all quality aspects of programme delivery •Responsible for identifying and then implementing improvement actions based on activity & win/loss reports •Ensuring Data quality within Salesforce.com CRM tool •Follow escalation procedure on project specific special pricing when required •Communicate with client and company Senior Management, Client Services Management on issues concerning the successful delivery of the programme. Person Specification: You will be a disciplined and strong Sales Manager with a Minimum 5 Years Internal Sales Management Experience, within Data Networking Market for manufacturer, Integrator, Reseller or Distributor. You will have a strong understanding of Data, Data Storage and Networking Security market within the UK and across Europe •Must have channel and data networking experience •The Channel Sales Manager should include the following as part of their role to ensure that the objectives and specified tasks can be achieved. •Follow and enforce defined processes •Review programmes on a regular basis using the structured approach •Work with their staff to maintain the policies and ethics laid down in the Company handbook •Have detailed contract knowledge of proposition, features, advantages and benefits •Drive activity and be responsible for team performance •Follow defined quality standards for data entry and checking •Make an impact on new and existing ICAM/ISR performance through effective coaching, measurement and monitoring (including input into agents monthly assessments) •Proactively assess campaign shortfalls and implement workable plans for addressing issues •Follow defined complaints and escalation procedures •Act consistently in a professional manner and as a role model to all staff •Implement personal development plans & review process for ICAM Team and ensure longevity within role by minimizing staff turnover •Preferably experienced at working in a busy multicultural environment •The Channel Telesales Manager will be assessed against a performance related pay model in relation to Incremental Revenue Targets set by 3Com. •Strong understanding of the channel and managing channel partners to achieve revenue goals •Solid background in reviewing, coaching & Training Internal Sales Teams. •Strong understanding of Product Portfolio. •Proven track record of results in achieving Internal Sales team targets. •Strong Motivator & Role Model. •Experience with Developing eMarketing Campaigns within Networking Marketplace. Fluency in French, German, Swedish or Dutch would be to an advantage In Return you will receive: •Basic Salary £32,000-35,000 •Bonus and benefits |
