Toolmaker
Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire �20,000 - �24,000 PA Pro Rata TP507 permanent position	My client is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team on an initial 3 month contract with a view to a permanent placement. Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, you will be carrying out various Tool Room and Mould Shop tasks efficiently and effectively. The successful Toolmaker will ideally be able to read engineering drawings, have knowledge of the materials used for tool making, mouldings and models, and be able to show initiative on design and problem solving. The Toolmaker should also have the ability to operate computers, specifically CAD and CAM software and Hypermill. Key Tool Room and Mould Shop tasks: � Working on CNC Mills, Drills, Grinders, Lathes and Spark Eroders � Drawing simple 2D drawings by hand and computer � Keeping records of and discussing designs � Repairs and fault finder on Mould tools � Working out cutters and tool paths for making 3D Models � Adhere to Health and Safety Standards � Other duties as required Toolmaker Rewards: � Initial 3 month contract with a view to going permanent � �20,000 - �24,000 PA Pro Rata
