My client is looking for an Analyst / Researcher with knowledge of Financial Planning to join their investment team. The company is a fund manager specialising in residential property whose partners include a number of household names within the finance and property industries. They are now looking to take on the Analyst / Researcher to support the Fund Manager and Sales & Marketing of the fund. The successful Analyst / Researcher will ideally need to have First Class Excel skills, demonstrable by test of certification as well as at least 4 – 5 years working experience. The Analyst / Researcher role: • Financial Modelling – To maintain and review the main financial model for the fund, including basic spreadsheet modelling and using the data to prepare P&L’s and cashflows. • Residential Review – To write a monthly 4 page update on the UK residential market for the website; to include updates on the economy, the lettings and housing markers, other asset classes and any additional ad-hoc topics. • Provision of data/analysis on residential and commercial property and the economy when required. • Sending out weekly news headlines to the team and board members on any relevant press articles. • Creating and adapting investor presentations for the CEO and other team members. • Creating InDesign documents to send to investors, after being professionally printed. • Any ad-hoc duties including additional modelling work (Excel based), producing topical research papers and all other miscellaneous duties as and when required. Desirable Experience: • To be a proven expert in Excel and other MS Office applications • Able to conduct web based research • Able to work under own initiative • A good understanding of the residential property market • An understanding of Fund/Property Management • An understanding of residential property investment • Knowledge of InDesign The Rewards: • £40,000 - £50,000 PA based on experience • A competitive bonus and equity package • Can be either Full Time or Contract |
