Cost Accountant
Bishops Stortford, Essex �27,000 - �30,000 TP558 permanent position	My client is looking for a new Cost Accountant to assist their current Financial Controller with all aspects of costing, management accounts, forecasting, budgets and financial analysis. The successful Cost Accountant should have costing, management accounting, analytical and a high level of IT skills whilst being able to demonstrate initiative and effective problem solving. You should be motivated for a career in accounts and ideally have a relevant qualification or be qualified by experience. The Cost Accountant Job Role: � Maintain the standard costing system ensuring accuracy of data � Monthly analysis and reporting of variances and margins � Monitoring of obsolete and slow moving stock levels � Assisting the Financial Controller with compilation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts � Identifying potential cost savings by reviewing expenditure, efficiency and processes to contribute to increased profitability. � Providing support to the Group Company MDs on any ad hoc projects requiring financial analysis. � Input on IT matters in liaison with IT Department. � To undertake any such reasonable additional tasks as are deemed necessary to fulfil the role.
