My client is looking for a Medical Area Sales Manager with experience within high tech medical devices or Ophthalmology. The successful applicant will be required to manage customers in their designated area which is mainly Scotland to achieve mutually agreed yearly sales and profit targets. You will need to secure and build on long term relationships with all customer groups to maximise sales opportunities. The successful Medical Area Sales Manager will ideally live in Scotland and have first class Communication skills as well as knowledge of the NHS / PCT (Primary Care Trust) environment. You will be selling products to all customer groups and must be able to present to a high level and have excellent negotiation skills. You will already have or be willing to gain and maintain a working knowledge of the functions of ophthalmology and optometry and gain a level of knowledge of competitor’s instruments, through training courses and research. The Medical Area Sales Manager rewards: • £38,000 - £40,000 Basic salary per annum • £12,000 - £15,000 expected bonus • Company car • Pension |
